Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of The Workshop website, including the registration flow, related pages, and linked workshop materials (collectively, the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Eligibility and Submitted Information
The Workshop is designed for professional, pre-professional, and advanced university dancers. If you submit information through the Site, you represent that it is accurate, current, and submitted by you or with proper permission. If you submit video links, resume links, referral information, or other materials, you also represent that you have the right to share them with us for registration review and program administration.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise noted, the Site content, design, branding, images, copy, and other materials are owned by or licensed to The Workshop, Ballet Idaho, or the applicable rights holders and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view the Site for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, republish, distribute, scrape, or commercially exploit Site content without prior written permission.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Site in any way that is unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or disruptive. This includes attempting to interfere with the Site, bypass security features, submit fraudulent information, scrape content, or upload anything malicious.
Registration Materials
If you submit a registration or inquiry through the Site, you grant us a limited right to access, store, review, and share that information internally with Workshop organizers and Ballet Idaho personnel involved in administering the program. We use submitted materials only for operating the Site, reviewing registrations, communicating with dancers, and administering The Workshop.
Third-Party Services
The Site may link to or rely on third-party services, including Google Forms, Instagram, video hosts, email providers, Cloudflare infrastructure, or Ballet Idaho payment pages. We are not responsible for the content, policies, availability, or practices of those third-party services. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.
Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Disclaimer
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the Site will always be error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Workshop and its organizers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site. Our total liability arising from the Site will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, during the six months before the claim arose, or $1,000, whichever is less.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Workshop and its affiliates, organizers, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site, your submitted materials, or your violation of these Terms.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Ada County, Idaho, and each party consents to that venue and jurisdiction.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The updated version will appear on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
